New York Law Journal has awarded former New York governor George Pataki (New York) as the recipient of the 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award due to his significant impact on the legal community and the practice of law.

Pataki was selected based on many major accomplishments throughout his career, which includes a half century as a lawyer and a quarter century in politics.
